Hourly, after a date
What’s already on the books keeps the old rate.
Hi Jordan — starting in June my hourly rate goes from $45 to $50. Anything already booked before that stays at the old number.
Rate change going forward
This is not an invoice. Already-booked work stays put. You’re telling them what new visits will cost after a date.
Name the old number, the new number, and when it starts.
The standing visit
A flat job price, not this month’s bill.
A heads-up: new visits after May 1 will be $140 for the standard clean, up from $125. Your April dates don’t change.
They can stop
Raise the rate. Leave the door open without a speech.
I need to raise rates going forward. Next month’s standing visit will be $20 more. If that doesn’t work, tell me and we’ll stop after this one.
